Ultra-low temperature -196 ℃

Application: Technology Industry/Wafer Equipment Factory
Material: PCTFE
Features: The electronic technology industry or semiconductor wafer manufacturing needs to be in a clean room, so the materials used are not allowed to have any dirt, impurities, or black spots. In order to provide customers with the best quality, we cooperate with Japan's DAIKIN subsidiary and Japan's TOHO Toho Chemical Co., Ltd. in purchasing raw materials. Recommended to you who insist on providing the best services and products.

Polychlorotrifluoroethylene is a polymer of chlorotrifluoroethylene, the English abbreviation of PCTFE. Polychlorotrifluoroethylene (PCTFE) is the earliest thermoplastic fluoroplastic researched, developed and produced. It has excellent chemical stability, insulation and weather resistance. It can be used at extremely high temperatures for a long time. Its mechanical strength and hardness are better than polytetrafluoroethylene. When made into a film, it has better transparency and lower air permeability. PCTFE is a crystalline polymer with a melting point of 218.33°C and a density of 2.13g/cm3 (grams/cubic centimeter)

PCTFE's excellent low-temperature resistance can be used to make sealing materials for liquid nitrogen, liquid oxygen, and liquid fuels; using PCTFE's mechanical stability and excellent optical properties, it can be used to make threaded tubes, pipe fittings, transparent sight glasses, and optical Instruments, etc.; its excellent electrical properties can be used to make plug-ins, printed circuit boards, etc. used in humid environments; it can also be used to prepare fluorochlorine oil, etc.

☆Main features

․ Mechanical properties: PCTFE has better mechanical properties at room temperature than PTFE. It has high compressive strength, small cold flow, relatively large compression rebound rate, and good elastic recovery.

․ Thermal performance: can be used for a long time at -196-125℃

․ Low temperature resistance: It can be used at temperatures close to absolute zero (-273°C) under certain conditions.

․ Corrosion resistance: The high fluorine content makes PCTFE resistant to almost all chemicals and oxidants, and can be immersed in acids, alkalis or oxidants for a long time without any change.

․ Permeability: Among all plastics, PCTFE has the lowest water vapor permeability, has excellent gas barrier ability, does not permeate any gas, and is a good barrier polymer.

․ Electrical properties: PCTFE's dielectric constant and dielectric loss factor are relatively small over a wide frequency range, its electrical properties such as insulation resistance and dielectric breakdown voltage are excellent, and it is almost unaffected by temperature or humidity. It is a High-frequency insulation materials that can withstand harsh conditions far better than traditional materials.

․ Optical properties: PCTFE has excellent optical properties. A 3mm thick PCTFE plastic sheet is optically transparent. A 2μm thick film can transmit 95% of 1-4μm infrared light. Its ultraviolet light absorption rate is also very low.

․ Weather resistance: PCTFE also has good weather resistance. It has no effect on its performance after being exposed to outdoor sunlight for one year.
