Ball Valve Components

ESI's Ball Valve Components include seats, seals, thrust washers, and stem bushings, the parts that define how a ball valve seals and moves. They fit between the ball, stem, and body to prevent leakage, reduce friction, and keep the ball valve operating smoothly over time.

Each component is designed for a specific function. Valve seats provide the sealing surface against the ball, thrust washers support axial loads on the stem, and bushings ensure low-friction rotation. Together they maintain alignment, sealing pressure, and mechanical stability through repeated open-and-close cycles.

To withstand continuous contact with fluids and pressure, these components are produced from PTFE-based materials, including pure PTFE, glass-filled PTFE, and TFM. These materials combine chemical resistance with wear strength and dimensional stability, ensuring long-term sealing reliability without contamination or excessive torque.

These ball valve components are essential to achieving dependable shut-off and smooth motion in ball valve assemblies. Contact us to discuss available ball valve component design or material options for your ball valve application.
